vocals... :(

The vocals are a bit too "whiney", and they seem slightly off-key pretty frequently...half of this I attribute to the fact that the singer (you?) seems to be singing a bit too high for their voice. I thought the voice at around 1:58 and 3:47 was something you really need to work on especially, the effect seemed too forced, and it generally just sounded bad. It would have been better if that was dropped completely. Overall, I'd suggest to work a bit more on the vocals and try not to sound as strained.

Listening back, I would say that I hit just about every note I intended to. Trust me, in some of my earlier rock pieces, the vocals were worse. While the vocals in this particular song are not my best, they're certainly not bad either. The whininess of the vocals that you point out is something that happens every so often while I sing; it's not intended. Also, this range is around the middle of my range. Granted anytime I go into falsetto then I'm higher than my average range, but that's just the way things are (I only have one tonsil and I've heard that horribly affects one's vocal range) so I compensate where I lack.

Thanks for the review.

Good Work!

Very well done. Definitely what I'd call a "euphoric" song - very uplifting. The vocals seem slightly odd with the long pauses between the words, but overall I'd say it's pretty nice. :)
